I recently updated my website and wanted something both mystical and sexy. My galleries feature weddings, women and then images from India as well. So I needed something to go hand in hand with the whole shabang.
I now LOVE my music and am very satisfied with the end result.
So if anyone is interested in having sounds created from scratch for their site, be it musical tunes, atmospheric soundscapes or just funky sounds, I know a great person! He doesn't offer it as a proper service, and doesn't have a lot of time, but for a small price he 'might' be able do them in his own free time, so long as the requirements are clear and reasonable.
The only conditions are to be specific about wants and needs and not to demand anything along the level of say, Mozart or Bach. Just short, maybe one minute-or-so long pieces that suits the site or project.
You can hear my sounds at www.dazzimages.com If you want any information or his contact info, let me know. :)
This past Saturday, I had the of photographing the 11th annual luncheon and fashion show for breast cancer awareness hosted by Dillards. The show featured both professional models and 6 breast cancer survivor models. Here's just a teeny sample of what I got.
Dear friend and tv personality Debby Wolvos along with Stu Evans from Country radio shared the women's personal stories as each one walked down the runway with family members.

As this little girl walked down the runway with her mother, her face lit up when she saw the crowed. Her instant reaction was to waive and smile. Just plain CUTE!
Survivor mother poses with local news team. This image went in the Arizona Republic. :)
I'm getting ready for another art show tonight and the next few days are going to be extremely busy with a handful of Christmas sessions, a local fashion show and also a fun Halloween party that I was hired to photograph.
I will have new fun stuff next week.
In the meantime, here are a few images I really liked of my sister that I took a few days ago :)
Sometimes you'll meet someone for the first time and you'll instantly know if you're going to like them or not.
Eden and I hit it off right away. She's 22yrs old with a vibrant personality and 'sweet as honey' would be an understatement. Did I mention she's GORGEOUS?
I was working on a community project earlier this year and within the first ten minutes of talking, I found out she had recently moved from Germany, loves both modeling and photography, wants to volunteer in Africa to help kids with HIV, and wants to continue traveling around the world.
You see folks....that's all she had to say.....we were going to be friends for life.
I love her free spirit and her strong faith in God. She's one of a kind.
As she tells me about this burning desire to want to do it all, I smile. I know exactly what she means. ...and tell her to do it......to do it all... not to let anyone get in her way and to remember that "you live only once."
I live by this motto.
I love my friends....and I love the new ones that come into my life as well.
I love the southwest during this time of year! The weather has now cooled down in Phoenix and we're happier and more patient people all the way around. (Maybe it's just moi).
I photographed the totally awesome Kelly and Mike a few months back and now it was time for the cool family photo shoot right in time for Christmas.
Here are a few of many...
Dallas' eyes are amazing.
Love Taryn's face. She's a BMX girl and although I had contemplated removing that scar on her arm, I figured why not keep it...it's part of growing up!
You know you can't photograph siblings without making them pretend fight, right?
We moved a red couch to the middle of the desert nearby... Kelly suggested doing a theme for 2008 that represented each person's personality or passion. Since she owns her own television show, she got the video camera....Her daughter Dallas is almost driving, so she got the car keys...etc. I loved the idea.
I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I had at my first art show on Saturday! Although I had a couple examples of portrait work displayed for holiday traffic, my booth was really geared towards landscape photography. I displayed only 5 images from India (2 of the Taj and 3 of Kashmir's houseboats) and mounted them on metallic paper and BIG. Oh yeah, one of the Eiffel too (above in header).
It was a busy night, lots of traffic at my booth..... people were more out to 'look' than anything else. Good exposure. The news was there and I got a whoppin 2 seconds on TV of my images. Not compaining!
I received alot of positive feedback from people and am grateful for everyone to took an interest in my work. The ones of you that follow my blog already knew about my love for the Taj and Kashmir.....But the interesting thing was stepping back and observing 'other' people magnetized and drawn to the images, particulary the blue houseboat one.....and hearing them walk up to my setup saying "wowwww" out loud to their friends. I smiled on the inside and the outside.
One lady said "that image is going to make you famous." {Lets hope so sweetheart}.
Ahhhhhh! So happy!
my friends snapped these pics thru out the night.
ohhh no he di'int!
oh yeah he did.
The girl in pink is my photographer friend Georgia whose another fan of landscape photography and does fabulous work! We will be doing booths together starting in two weeks. Thank you for coming to visit me Georgia and ending up working somehow. I love ya sista.
I should be doing commercials for Kashmir.....this guy told me he had no desire to ever go but my pictures made him want to go now. Yeah baby.
And a special thank you to my friends Kris and Renee who put their heart into helping me....I am forever grateful for you two.
