Happy Thanksgiving~

On Thanksgiving, I want to take a few minutes to say "Thank You."

I appreciate all the friendships, encouragement, inspiration, personal emails, and {even the moral support when i was in India}.

I don't think my world would be the same without all of you.

Whether you are family, a client, or a photographer friend, I am blessed to know each and every one of you and am thankful to have you in my life.

I wish you all a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday.

It had rained earlier so it was clear and gorgeous outside. I decided the sky needed a picture. ;)

Molly and Nick....Part 1 of 2

Molly and Nick's wedding was no joke.

It was so huge that I even have to do 2 series on this blog with some of my fav's.

Not including the bride and groom, there were 29 people in the bridal party.

Nick is an absolute gentleman. He's super-rad. I can see the love he has for Molly when he looks and smiles at her.

Molly is amazing. She's fun, sweet, beautiful, vibrant, loving, kind, energetic...... I can go on. We've gone to the same church forever.

When she asked me to document their special day, I was honored and thrilled.

The 'getting ready' was at the Embassy Suites hotel. Ceremony took place at church and then we headed back to the ES for the reception.

I love the photos. I processed all differently based on the mood of the image.
A very special 'thank you' goes out to my friend Birte for second shooting with me.

I wish you both a beautiful life together.

Colorful Hindu Wedding

This was an intimate Hindu wedding set inside the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in Phoenix.

Lots of color, culture and tradition here.

Doesn't the title to this post sound a little "frisky" or is it me?

Well this morning I saw a teeny picture in the Phoenix coffee house magazine of me beside the Taj at the first art walk I did last month.
I glanced at the pic and was happy, I read the text and looked like a deer in headlights.

"Artist Ruby Rideout shows us her Taj."

.....Oh boy. ;)

Chad and Cynthia

Meet my brother Chad and his wife Cynthia. These pictures were done for their 1st year wedding anniversary.

My brother is the coolest, funniest, sweetest guys out there....and how lucky my sisters and I are to have a sister-in-law that is as cool, as funny and as sweet as he is, if not more! HAHA.
I think they are a 'beautiful' and so in-love couple! I'm grateful for the both of them and can't imagine my life without them.

I wanted to do a really sexy shoot with them since it was their 1st year anniversary.
A resort with couches and beds outside?

Oh yeah...now we're talkin'!
