I saw the first image on Lena Hyde's facebook album and fell in love with the words. I researched the artist, Andre Jordan, whose humor I love! Seriously, grab a cup of coffee and go thru blog/website when you have a few minutes. He has some hysterical short story reads...as well as some beautiful words he's painted (as in the first image).
....give my mommy one more day to upload her blog.
As you can see from the look in my eyes, I'm kind of upset with her right now. Not only did she make me go into a van outside with some crazy lady who decided to shave all my fur off, but then she thought it was cute to take a picture of me posed by her roses. She's lucky I love her.
Weeks before our shoot, we agreed to have me come by their home around 4pm. I showed up and it was intensely bright and sunny still, along with the fact that the little girl wanted nothing to do with me. :( I tried. I really really tried.
So we rescheduled for the next morning early....and the session was a breeze for everyone. I think the whole family is just beautiful!
....and that little boy? He loved the camera, kept peeking at it even when i wasn't trying to take his picture. Is he not the cutest?
I've always photographed a wedding as my own and hired assistant shooters if needed. However, I've never 2nd shot a wedding and I have to say I reeeeee-leeee like it.
This wedding belongs to Andy, of Muse Photography in Phoenix who is a fabulous photographer, check his work out. Omari Dickens, another wonderful Phoenix photographer, and I had the pleasure of all working together on this gorgeous spring day! Truly a beautiful wedding.
