Newly adopted Mikaleigh

This is another session from the organization Celebrating Adoption. Meet lil miss Mikaleigh. She was brought home from Ethiopia 2 months ago. I'm not sure why babies that are adopted simply touch me.
Every situation for the baby is different: some are abandoned, some are neglected, some have had parents die of disease or even in war....whatever the unfortunate situation may be, it's good that there's always hope.

I photographed her yesterday morning indoors and then I did outdoors this afternoon. I was having a pretty rough last few days but as soon as I go to hold this little girl, my worries go away. She's happy and peaceful and that rubs off on me. It's amazing how that happens.
