I've always been fascinated with different cultures, Indian and Thai on top of the list. When I was younger, I'd come across Indian movies on tv and just remember being mesmerized by the beauty these women portrayed.
Well, they say things happen for a reason. My studio strobe flash gave up on me in the beginning of this session. So we went to my bedroom where it's lit up pretty well with natural light. We shot her session mostly on the bed and in my tub next to a window (big tub, don't laugh!)
I think they turned out pretty darn good and probably more exciting than the studio ones would have been anyway.
I wanted more of a moody look and depending on the mood of the image, I softened some, contrasted some. Have so many but wanted to share some of my fav's.
So without further delay, this is Kajal. I know her from a couple fashion shows I photographed where she was a model. She is b-e-a-utiful!
Share the love pleeeeez! :)

These are GORGEOUS, Ruby! I think the bedroom and the tub worked out better than the studio flash would have! These are just BEAUTIFUL! Great work!

wow stunning girl and spectacular images Ruby, I'm really excited for you on these. THe one you love but not sure why is my favorite too it rocks heck you did awesome on them all though I can't pick and choose. Your color depth is great on them too. Yah!
oh my gosh...these are STUNNING. who needs a studio when you can take shots like this...who would have thought...a window, a bed, and a bathtub. seriously...not just one is great...ALL OF THEM ARE so beautiful...and yes, she is absolutely gorgeous...
I don't know why you like that shot particularly either, but it, for me, is saturated with beauty, promise, hope and fragility all rolled into one image. VERY GOOD RUBY. I no longer believe that beauty is purely in the eye of the beholder, especially when you can share it with us in such generous portions. Isn't it marvelous that you can interpret the subject you photograph and have that be conveyed and felt by others all over the world. Even Down Under!
You is Dazzling Ruby, just Dazzling!
