As I weeded thru the hundreds of photos from India, I realize I still don't have energy to organize them, much less to edit.
So with that being said, you get monkeys from Delhi for this blog entry. Less work ;)
Monkeys: wrinkles, hair, bags, very cute
People: wrinkles, hair, bags, NOT cute
These creatures are amazing to me, so humanlike in many ways.
Enjoy~
I asked one of my friends to take a picture with the point & shoot of me beside the monkey. He was turned the other way so I tapped on the ground to get his attention. Bad move! After he hissed at me for p*ssing him off,(see next image) he grabbed my skirt and scared me to death. One of the guys from our group quickly shoo'd the monkey off me and then the monkey hissed at all of us. We left quickly laughing but scared at the same time. HAHA!! Fun times.
My recommendation based on this picture is that he needs a little teeth whitening.

Spectacular and wonderful are words that seem to sum up how I feel about these images. This is really great stuff Ruby. I had a pet monkey when I lived in Asia called Boomer, and it was soooo cute and human like as well. Thanks for sharing.
Ha! I love this: "So with that being said, you get monkeys from Delhi for this blog entry." Too funny! Anyway, these pictures are BEAUTIFUL, Ruby! Soooo many favorites that I can't even remember them all to write them here! Awesome job! And the monkey story is too funny. He was like "Stupid American - I am not your picture postcard to send back home. Go take a self-portrait and call it a day!" LOL
Oh yeah I forgot to tell you not to p*ss the monkeys off! The guy we stayed with told us that some people train them to steal sunglasses off tourists... Fast little munchkins!!!
As we all know you can do it ALL!!! Capture people, landscapes and now wildlife absolutely beautifully. I wish I had the $$$$ to go on an African Safari and have you as my personal photographer. Missed you Thurs. Hope to see you soon. Natalie
my recommendation is not to get a teeth whitening, but to get some teeth. period.

omg! i love that last one, i know it probably wasn't funny at the time but to think about what words would of been coming out of his mouth if he could speak english!!!
i like the image of the four monkeys too!
Oh my goodness the story on the last two just about made me pee myself, I wish I could have seen that ( I surely would have peed myself then! ) Love the first b/w conversion one, what a sweet looking moment. Looks like you got a little something extra in image 2, you can make a book with #2 and your horse and whatever else you got! :)
Hilarious. Note to self: stay away from the monkey.
These are awesome - the baby monkey is so friggin' cute - I want one (not really). The group of them together lined up... amazing. You are so talented Ruby - I'm glad you're back --- now get back to work and edit us some more images of India'goodness.
