This gorgeous wedding was no joke though. The couple, Jimmy and Dripan, were so adorable and kind and fun to be around.
900 people showed up, the work was tremedous but enjoyable i admit, and the dance floor didnt' stop bumping with Indian music the whole night. Mind you, we were out working 14 hours on saturday and 9 hours on Sunday.
Intense.
The party on Sunday made me take my jacket off and drop my camera on the table, grab a vodka/cranberry and tempt me into shaking that booty on the dance floor.
HOWEVER....I refrained and kept a professional ethic even though i almost thru it all out the window as the beat of the drums and the music burned thru my system like wild fire.
Maybe in my previous life i was indian and just don't know it.
I have hundreds if not a couple thousand pics to go thru. I will update blog in phases.
I missed my India trip SOOOOOOOO bad!

I envy your clients --- cause they get you. Fantastic as always my friend. What a great looking couple too! //enoch
WOW!!
Fabulous-ness!! ABSOLUTELY!
I recall with much mirth the anxious moments you had with the spiders and showers in India and the difficulty you experienced at the end of the spectrum of human emotion and to know you missed your trip soooo bad is wonderful. I knew you would come through the experience richer and warmer for having been. I am very pleased with your images and your experiences. I think the one thing living in the third world taught me was, that people who have little or nothing really know how to live fully. I think THAT rhythm went through you to that music. I am so proud for you! WONDERFUL Ruby.
Beautiful Ruby....just beautiful! Your photos are stunning...I can't wait to see the rest! It was so fantastic to see you and spend time with you my friend...I can't wait till the next time!
I want to cry!!! Let's go back… NOW!!!
Beautiful pictures, I can't wait until you and I get the opportunity to pack our suitcases again and fly to the other side of this world. I miss it so much I started watching Hindi movies a while back… doesn't matter if I can't understand a word they say. I understand: Achcha / good, bahut sundar / very beautiful, Kana bahut swadist hai / The food is very good, Mera nam Birte hu, apka / yours…
CHIP-AT-TI!
I remember SO much!! And I remember Nahi, but not the word for yes. haha
Ruby… That trip didn't just attach my soul to yours, it attached me to India. I can NEVER get it out of my mind. No matter what I do… IT"S ALWAYS THERE!!
So pretty! My goodness.
Lovely pics no joke, can only imagine the rest to come. Glad you had a fab time and that you experienced such an unbelievable event.
The color of the clothes knocks me out!
